Ngaanyatjarra Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (NPY) Women's Council is led by women's law, authority and culture to deliver health, social and cultural services for all Anangu. NPY Women's Council nurtures strong Anangu voices and solutions for the region to provide better outcomes for future generations. We are advocates, capacity builders and service providers. The way we work is innovative and unique, and places out people and culture at the heart of what we do. NPYWC is directed by Aboriginal women across 26 desert communities in the cross-border region of Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory. The NPY Lands are home to 6,000 Indigenous people (Anangu and Yarnangu) across 350,000 square kilometres. NPY Women's Council delivers the following services: • Child and Family Wellbeing Service • Youth Services • Domestic and Family Violence Service • Tjungu Aged and Disability Service • Tjanpi Desert Weavers Social Enterprise • Ngangkari Program (traditional healers) NPY Women's Council head office is based in Alice Springs, Northern Territory.
