NUAC HB is a Swedish reg. company co-owned by the designated Air Navigation Service Providers - the Swedish LFV and Danish Naviair. NUAC operates the three Air Traffic Control Centre (ATCCs) in Copenhagen, Malmoe and Stockholm. The services provided are Air traffic Services in Danish and Swedish Airspace (DK-SE FAB) Number of flights handled in the airspace 2017: 1.067.000 NUAC is a lean and efficient organisation with app. 12 persons directly employed. All other full and halftime employees - which actually counts approximately 650 employees is on secondment from Naviair and LFV. NUAC HB is certified as an ATS-provider by the Swedish aviation authorities. The ATCCs and all other equipment are owned an provided by Naviairs and LFVs as their property. The owner companies decides the investments strategies and delivers all technical maintenance. - NUAC participates in the airspace development and the ATM system harmonisation initiatives in the DK-SE FAB. NUAC have since its establishment in 2011 made excellent results and efficiency improvements through close cooperation with the owners and trough ATM Systems harmonization initiatives. The core purpose is to deliver en route service with high flight safety and flight efficiency. As the first integrated Air Trafic Service Provider to deliver ATS to a FAB in 2012, NUAC company creates substantial synergies all for the benefit of the airline customers, passengers, environment and the Danish and Swedish society. Historic data for NUAC HB January 2011: Integrates Danish and Swedish support units i one common organisation November 2011: Implement Free Route Airspace in DK-SE FAB July 2012: Operates ATCC Copenhagen, ATCC Malmoe and ATCC Stockholm and provides ATS in DK-SE FAB as a certified ATS provider. May 2017: Participated in the north European NEFRA project. The Free Route Airspace covering DK-SE FAB and NEFAB above FL285.
