Responding to the ever present continuing education needs of working professionals in the country, NUST established a "Professional Development Centre" {PDC) in July 2007 through a Higher Education Commission (HEC) supported initiative. Objectives of this initiative are to enable working professionals to remain updated with the latest developments in their related disciplines thus enhancing their knowledge, employability and managerial skills, PDC started its operations in Dec 2007 and has so far conducted hundreds of high value workshops, short courses, and seminars in the following disciplines: • Engineering • Management & Social Sciences • Information Technology
