We are the designated Area 1 Agency on Aging, the Community Action Agency, the ADRC & WIC sponsor in northwest Indiana. Our organization is committed to innovative interventions leading to the creation of communities that support the independence of individuals and families across the lifespan. Some of the program & initiatives we offer: Home & Community Based Services Supportive Services for Veteran Families Senior Companions & Foster Grandparents (SeniorCorps) LTC Ombudsman Prevention & Health Promotion Financial Literacy and VITA tax preparation Family Self Sufficiency Program Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) Energy Assistance, Conservation & Education (EAP & Weatherization) Nutrition Programs (home delivered meals, congregate sites) WIC Family Caregiver Program Housing Choice Voucher (formerly Sec 8) Program
