OceanSaver AS was established in February 2003 for for the purpose of developing an efficient and unique solution for Ballast Water Treatment (BWT). We have our center of excellence located in the port of Drammen, Norway. OceanSaver is globally recognised as one of the leading ballast water treatment system providers, known for its high-technology ballast water treatment equipment, services, engineering and product management and system installations. Ballast water treatment systems are becoming mandatory equipment onboard vessels, driven by a legal requirement following the adoption, ratification and entry into force of the IMO Ballast Water Management Convention and the United States Coast Guard 46 CFR 111.105. OceanSaver has been developing its ballast water treatment systems since 2003 and has since won significant contracts following its full Type Approval certification by Det Norske Veritas (DNV) in April 2009, on behalf of the Norwegian Flag State Authority, and certificate from the USCG in December 2016.
