When John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, was asked “What is a Methodist?” he replied, using the words of scripture: “A Methodist is….one who loves the Lord his God with all his heart, with all his soul, with all his mind, and with all his strength” (Deuteronomy 6:5). Here at Old Bethel, we agree with Wesley. As a church family, we believe in the Holy Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and we embrace the creeds of the church. It is our desire to help the world enter into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ as enabled by the Holy Spirit. Our focus is to assist each other as we grow as disciples and to glorify God in all that we do.
