Ontario-Safety Training and Consulting is a full-service Health and Safety oriented company that assists clientele in the Construction and Industrial sectors as well as Municipalities. We assist by helping companies with their COR internal audits to receive initial certification and also in subsequent cycles to maintain their status. Ontario-Safety Training and Consulting also provides workplace / site inspection services for clients and third parties to ensure safe conditions and practices, in addition we provide safety training. We are an approved training provider for 'Working at Heights - Fundamentals of Fall Prevention' under Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA). All instructors for Working at Heights - The Fundamentals of Fall Prevention are subject matter experts, and are deemed qualified after being vetted and approved by IHSA having a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience and completing required fundamental adult teaching and training courses. Our course curriculum and training methods are aligned with the standard set by the Ontario Ministry of Labour and meet guidelines regarding course material, equipment, length of study time, and both written and hands on evaluations. We also offer training for: Asbestos Awareness and Type 1 & 2 removal Respirator Fit Testing Confined Space Awareness Rigging, Signaling and Crane Communications Transportation of Dangerous Goods Aerial Work Platform Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Truck Violence and Harassment on the Workplace. Looking upon Ontario-Safety with a wider scope, our Instructors and Consultants have a wide variety of professional backgrounds ranging from the construction and industrial industries to Hotel and Hospitality. Having Health and Safety Representatives and people experienced as JHSC members from within the construction, manufacturing, industrial, sound and stage production is a strong benefit for our clientele as we offer on and off-site consulting for an array of needs.
