OptaSensor GmbH represents excellence and experience in the field of photonics technology integration, design and manufacturing of specially tailored small factor visualization and sensing solutions for medical applications. A lot of it´s proven expertise can be found on the developed work on the NanEye camera modules from Awaiba (currently ams AG), where a new product line to target emerging disposable endoscope market was created. OptaSensor can thus draw on more than a decade of knowhow and IP for miniature fully enclosed camera systems, with a focus on the medical market. Advanced design tools (analytics, design, raytracing) for optics development, an extensive know-how base on miniature module design, materials and manufacturing processes as well as the capabilities for implementing such high-end micro-optical systems from prototyping through a fab-less volume manufacturing allow OptaSensor to be the premier R&D and implementation partner for advanced photonic-integrated systems.
