Optech is a trusted partner to a number of long term customers and thrives on developing new relationships predominantly within the north of England and Scotland. However, over the last three decades, Optech has worked in Europe, North America and Asia. Our aim has always been to deliver the best possible solution with open and honest dialogue with our customers. We pride ourselves in delivering systems that are fit for now and the foreseeable future. In 1993 the company ‘Optech Fibres Ltd’ was formed as a Telecoms and Fibre Optic cabling company, and with the dedication of all of its staff, soon became a leading installer through the North West. 27 years later, we still have the same passion and drive as we did back in 1993 but now we have the backing of over 70 trained and motivated staff, earning accreditation with a number of bodies. The business has diversified from the early days into a fully-fledged Electrical, IT, Audio Visual & Security installer (including CCTV and Door Access). From humble the beginnings as a specialist network installer, Optech have built on a single source supplier ethos, by expanding into the electrical contracting sector and diversifying to the extent that in the last financial year turnover across the business had grown to in excess of £3.75m. While the original foundations of Data and Fibre Optic cabling are still at the forefront of the business. The Optech Fibres name has simply evolved into ‘Optech’ as clients became aware of the businesses various in house capabilities and the savings available by engaging a single contractor who can provide the whole design, installation, maintenance and support package over a wide range of disciplines.
