OCA is specialised in the development of appropriate technology in rural infrastructure construction and maintenance and effective implementation methods, and above all in capacity development of local government, community based organisations and small contracting service providers. OCA is particularly strong in development and application of an appropriate mix of labour based and machine based O&M, optimising the use of local resources and local procured implementation capacity in rural roads construction and maintenance, irrigation schemes and pedestrian infrastructure development.
