As a ministry of United World Mission, Overseas Council equips Christian leaders by partnering with vital seminaries worldwide to advance Gods kingdom. Headquartered in Indianapolis since 1974, Overseas Council is an organization with a very precise focus. Were in the frontlines of leadership training and leadership development. We partner with 130 seminaries, Bible institutes and other strategic ministries in 70 countries. We work in 5 regions of the world: Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East/North Africa. Our assistance includes Scholarships, seminary leadership gatherings (Institutes for Excellence), regionally strategic projects (Community Outreach) and TEACH. Called. Trained. Multiplied. captures the essence and uniqueness of Overseas Councils world-changing ministry. Overseas Council targets leaders who are called by God to make a difference in the Majority World where the Church is growing fastest or against formidable odds. These men and women are biblically trained in Gods Word within the context of their local culture in order to be most effective. Through these leaders lifetimes of ministry, Gods Kingdom is multiplied in a perpetual cycle of conversion and growth, person by person, small group by small group, community by community.
