Owl Field Productions Limited

Owl Field is a multi-award-winning audio production company specialising in 3D audio storytelling. Since 2015, we have been driving audio entertainment into the future alongside virtual reality. Beyond immersion, our pioneering approach makes the listener feel PRESENT inside the story, as the events, characters, sound effects, and music surround you. In addition to developing and licensing our own content, we offer full audio production services. We can produce anything from audiobooks to podcasts to advertising. We provide full or part service anywhere from project conceptualisation through to final delivery, including writing, recording, and spatial audio design. In December 2015, Owl Field won The Bookseller's FutureBook Bronze BookTech Company of the Year. In June 2016, Owl Field was awarded funding through Creative Scotland and in October of that year released the highly innovative production 'The Fairy Tree', a personalisable, feature-length, interactive choose-you-path fantasy adventure produced entirely in 3D audio. 'The Fairy Tree' went on to win the Gold Charles Ogle award. In 2017, Owl Field released interactive children’s series, ‘Savvy and WonderHair’. Both 'Savvy and WonderHair' and 'The Fairy Tree' were licensed to leading children's app, Pinna. In 2018, managing director, Michel Lafrance, was honoured with a place on the FutureBook40, a list of top innovators and creatives in the UK publishing industry. The same year, Owl Field released the innovative interactive podcast '3D Escape Room: Frequency', which reached number one in several countries. Through further collaborations with the likes of Audible and Echoverse, we continue to develop unprecedented audio innovation. Do not hesitate to reach out, who knows what we might create together.
