The third largest water utility department in the State of Florida, the Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) provides drinking water and wastewater collection services to nearly 600,000 residents in the central and south-central unincorporated areas of the County as well as the western communities. In addition to five water treatment plants, the Southern Region Wastewater Reclamation Facility and wastewater treatment plants in Belle Glade and Pahokee, we also operate the Wakodahatchee Wetlands, which was named the Best Park in the State of Florida by Money Magazine in 2018.
