Nowadays the group is a major player in the Mediterranean sea and in the Atlantic ocean. It operates with 7 shipyards located in Naples, Messina, Malta, Marseille, Tenerife, Ancona and a commercial office in Monaco. Palumbo is a leader for ship repair, conversion, refitting, offshore, new build and is certified ISO 30000:2009, ISO 9001:1998, ISO 14000:2005. It have been declared also compliant with the organizational and management model OHSAS 18001. In 2014, obtained the certification for the maintenance and repair of LNG carriers specializing in the transportation of liquefied natural gas from the GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz).
