Perhapsatron is a Los Angeles based design and animation company specializing in the creation of motion graphics for television and digital media. We operate on the belief that bigger isn't better. We want our collaboration (and our design) to be direct, personal and free-flowing. On each project we first work to establish strategy and goals. Once that’s in place, we concept and pitch, board and animate, polish and tweak. Each project asks a different question, and we’ll respond with a team sized and staffed specifically for each job. We’ve worked with big teams and small, but never at the expense of direct creative communication. The challenge of tackling a wide variety of projects in all kinds of media keeps us giggling. We thrive on the iteration of creative give and take. This business is supposed to be fun. We make sure the people with whom we work, both clients and colleagues, feel the same way. Our creative direction comes from Perhapsatron founder, Erik Bertellotti. Erik studied film history at UC Berkeley and earned an MFA at the University of Southern California's School of Cinema-Television. Later, while a staff artist at the renowned 525 Studios in Hollywood, he worked on commercial and network projects for Chrysler, AT&T, JCPenney, ABC, CBS and NBC, and visionary directors and artists like David Fincher, Mark Romance, Beastie Boys, and U2. He is involved in every project we do, whether as team leader or the whole team.
