Periamma

Periamma is a non-profit organization with a different approach to development. Periamma inspires, engages and creates meaningful and sustainable development with corporates and privates. We aim to be a platform where innovation and co-creation goes hand-in-hand - to let people and companies from around the world make a difference for children, parents and local communities. Every project Periamma is involved in is based on one of three distinct ways of doing development. Our sponsor program is development in its most ‘traditional’ form. Through our educational program we give school children the opportunity to change their life and unleash their potential. Today, Periamma supports more than 4.500 children. Our engage program is an entirely different take on development. The core of the program is a co-creation process with partners. By engaging with companies and privates as partners, Periamma takes development a step further so every party involved benefits – a true win-win-win! Our invest program is not driven by altruism, it is what we term ‘Profit for a Purpose’. It aims to infuse money where it is lacking by giving interested parties the opportunity to invest in exciting business ventures in Asia. The program is set up along the lines of most other microfinance schemes where there is a return on investment in successful companies and start-ups.
