Phytonext is a small tech startup in the Food Valley in the Netherlands. Its purpose is to develop and commercialize its proprietary technology in the field of: - selective extraction - particle engineering. The extraction technology offers (chemical) selectivity and mild process conditions in a novel process. It is therefore suitable for natural, thermosensitive or otherwise unstable compounds with high-end applications (functional foods, health benefits, medical applications/foods). The particle engineering technology under development aims at formulating pure chemicals in particles of controllable size, meaning we're able to key in on the desired size distribution. Particles are sizes from 1 micron and up. Added value applications are among others controlled-release.
