PISAgro

The Partnership for Indonesia’s Sustainable Agriculture (PISAgro) is a non-profit association, which facilitates multi-stakeholders collaboration for sustainable agriculture. PISAgro was initiated by seven private companies in Indonesia, in response to concerns expressed by Indonesian Vice Minister Agriculture and Vice Minister of Trade in World Economic Forum (WEF) Summit held in Jakarta in June 2011. The partnership seeks to provide an innovative, multi-stakeholder model for addressing the nation’s agricultural challenges in a sustainable manner while improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers. PISAgro works through 16 Working Groups focused on 11 crops and commodities, and 5 cross-cutting themes.
