It all started from a garment industry founded by Bruno Tjahyono, a hardworking entrepreneur with a sense of business. From this single company, Bruno’s dream of success continues to materialize into reality. And today he is the proud owner and president director of five subsidiaries with a total of 700 employees, all operating closely within the same line of business surf, skate, and street wear. One of the biggest business is Planet Surf store. Although not the first player yet in the surf wear retail industry, Planet Surf has attained a level of growth that has been the envy of its competitors. Started in 1997, today it has become the biggest retail in the industry, with a total off 35 outlets in various locations in Indonesia, covering 5 major island and 17 big cities. Concentrating in the highly potential youth market in Indonesia, Planet Surf blend the concepts of active, sporty and fun for each shop. Accordingly, Planet Surf’s shop elements have to represent that as well atmosphere, attitude, and the most importantly the range of collection available. Planet Surf has been the authorized dealer of most major brands in the surf and skate wear industry, such as : Spyderbilt, Insight, Juice Ematic, Quiksilver, Roxy, Ripcurl, Rusty, Oakley, Billabong, Emily, No Fear, Volcom and many more. Until now Planet Surf is optimistically continuing to introduce and nurture potential brands of the surfing & skating world to the Indonesian market.
