The Plant Biosecurity Cooperative Research Centre (PBCRC) was established to strengthen the plant biosecurity scientific capacity of Australia. PBCRC started its six year term on 1 July 2012, as an extension CRC from the Cooperative Research Centre for National Plant Biosecurity (2005 2012). PBCRC was funded through the Australian Governments Cooperative Research Centres Programme and 27 participating organisations. The Investment Plan 2012-2108 detailed the objectives and investment approach of PBCRC. The Plant Biosecurity CRC ceased operations on June 30 2018. A new not for profit entitiy, The Australian Plant Biosecurity Science Foundation (APBSF) has been established to support future plant biosecurity R D & E. This Plant Biosecurity CRC Legacy site provides free access to the outputs of six years of research outputs, primarily publications.
