PLK Tech was founded in 2003 as an in-house venture of Hyundai Motor Company to develop and sell computer vision-based driver assistance systems. Since 2006, PLK has supplied vision ADAS to over 15 vehicle models of Hyundai and Kia. The vision ADAS of PLK detects different traffic signs, vehicles and pedestrians and warns the driver if there is a potential risk of collision on the road. Moreover, PLKs ADAS solution can replace driver operations through the integration with vehicle control systems.
