Polytenna develops innovative polymer antennas for the flourishing mm-wave device markets at 20-80 GHz: 5G, WiGig/WiFi, ADAS, and IoT. At mm-wave frequencies the old metal printed antennas have high power loss and poor performance. They also need expensive materials for fabrication. The old antenna technologies are not suitable for the mm-wave consumer market. Our "plastic antennas" have fantastic performance at these high frequencies. Polytennas are also cheap to fabricate and easy to integrate in high volumes using plastic molding techniques. They are ideal for the next gen devices. We are spin-off company of the University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Our award-winning patented high frequency antenna technologies are the result of over a decade of award-winning, cutting edge research and development. We are the recipients of the prestigious IEEE Edward E. Altshuler best paper award of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society in 2012, and the second best paper award from International Symposium on Antenna Technology and Applied Electromagnetics (ANTEM) in 2014. Polytenna Technologies Inc. was incorporated in 2016. We were one of the 3 winners of U of S Tech Venture Challenge in May. We were accepted in the prestigious EvoNexus incubator in San Diego in November 2016, and fully established our California office starting in 2017.
