The population consists of approximately 14,000 citizens of Ridgefield, La Center, and the unincorporated county. The mission of the port is "to responsibly deliver property and facilities that encourage private investments, job creation, local economic diversity and stability; to preserve and better the quality of life for citizens of the greater Ridgefield area."
