Our capabilities extend to typical material transformation processes on a Build to Print basis. Utilising the latest technologies and machinery including 5 axis milling and turning supported by fabrication, CNC press and punch machinery, welding (MIG, MAG, TIG, Spot welding & Induction Silver Soldering/Brazing), and fitting. Finishing and Surface Treatments are also completed on site and we have recently commissioned a Powder Coat Paint facility. Within our 200 strong staff we have experienced and specialised expertise in Mechanical Design, Electrical Design and Design Validation using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), all supported by the latest software. To ensure Product Life Cycle Management our Airworthiness Team provide comprehensive Safety and Hazard Management and are qualified to provide Certificates of Design and Declarations of Design and Performance in accordance DAOS and MAA regulations. With a skilled Project Management Team, Portsmouth Aviation Ltd are able to deliver a complete Through Life Service. Portsmouth Aviation Ltd has fostered relationships with many Tier 1 Suppliers within the Defence, Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Marine Sectors as well as working closely with SME’s delivering a vast variety of projects and products to meet customer needs in a highly competitive market.
