Prem Henna Private Limited is an Indian Cultivator, Manufacturer & Exporter of Henna (Mehendi in Hindi) and Henna based hair color products. It also manufactures ready-to-use Henna paste cone, more commonly known as Mehendi cone in India, powder & crème based hair color and other personal care products. Prem Henna was founded by Mr. M. L. Gehlot, who started cultivating henna in 1930. This modest and smalltime stint with henna cultivation started at Dodiya (Sojat Tehsil), a small village in Rajasthan province of India with a population of hardly 10,000. In initial days, when he was still nurturing his passion for henna leaves, he used to carry harvested leaves in bullock cart and sell them to traders in the nearby marketing yard. Gradually his passion paid its dividends and senior Gehlot was assisted by his son N. L. Gehlot; the family kept its affection for henna continued and in 1988, PHPL ventured into commercial activities to streamline the conventional Mehendi business. Presently company is being looked after by next generation of Gehlot's: The Chairman Mr. C. R. Gehlot is assisted by his brothers in routine operations. Currently, the company exports its products in as many as 30 countries across South East Asia, Middles East & Latin America.
