Organizational Information: Pride Houston is an energetic collection of committed, year-round volunteers who develop, organize, coordinate and promote the LGBT community through a series of events, most notably the annual LGBT Celebration featuring the nations first night-time Pride Parade. It is the organizations goal to create the means by which LGBT persons can celebrate, commemorate, and educate our LGBT population. Mission Statement: Pride Houston shall work to bring lesbians, gay-men, bisexuals, and transgendered individuals together to educate the World on issues pertaining to the LGBT community, commemorate our heritage, celebrate our culture, and liberate our people.
