Pro Cellular

Pro Cellular was started in April 2000 by Kent and Donna Johansen in Springfield, MN as an authorized agent of Midwest Wireless based in Mankato, MN. Additional locations in 2000 were Pipestone and Redwood Falls in Minnesota. Spring of 2001 saw the addition of Windom and Slayton in Minnesota. Continued growth in Minnesota led to the addition of our location in Granite Falls. Minnesota saw growth in 2007 in Albert Lea, Mankato, and Lake City. In 2003 expansion began in Southwest Wisconsin with the addition of three Alltel Wireless stores. Development has continued in Wisconsin, now having stores located in South La Crosse, North La Crosse, Valleyview Mall La Crosse, Prairie Du Chien, Richland Center, Holmen, Black River Falls, Eau Claire Eastridge, Eau Claire Oakwood Mall, Waupaca, Berlin, Mauston, Reedsburg, Monroe, Fond du Lac, Platteville, Menomonie, and Tomah. Pro Cellular is now the largest Alltel Wireless Agent in Wisconsin. 2005 and 2006 brought growth into South Dakota with Alltel Wireless. Pro Cellular stores now located in South Dakota include Sioux Falls, Brookings, Flandreau, Huron, Aberdeen, Madison, Milbank, Sisseton, and Watertown. Fall of 2006 saw the addition of Pierre and Canton into South Dakota. In 2007 we added Beresford, Mobridge, and Rapid City into the South Dakota Market. Iowa expansion began in 2006 with Midwest Wireless locations in Waukon, Iowa Falls, and Independence. In 2007 Iowa added Northwood, Mason City, and Clear Lake to its fold. Pro Cellular celebrated five consecutive years as the largest volume agent in the Midwest Wireless company until its purchase by Alltel Wireless in July 2007. In July of 2006 Pro Cellular moved to a new corporate office in Slayton to position us for continued growth. There is planned continued growth in 2008 that we are very excited about it.
