Pursuing the Esquire is a Black-owned business that supports aspiring minority lawyers get to and through law school through our pillars of access and mentorship. Our organization provides access to the community by circulating scholarship opportunities and educational resources on our website. In addition, our founder, Danielle Hardy Esq., hosts a panel series called Legal Lifelines, where she interviews minority attorneys in every field of law to inspire and give advice to aspiring lawyers on their path to becoming a lawyer. Pursuing the Esquire's mentorship program is mentorship with a twist! Our mentors are all recent law school graduates of color within the last 5 years or within 5 years of practice. The mentorship program consists of personalized, curated mentorship, scholarship awards, educational workshops, and receive personal advice from practicing attorneys through virtual panels, networking, and events (due to COVID). Our mentees attend both HBCUs and PWIs across the US and internationally.
