founded in 1891 as randolph-macon woman's college, randolph college is a private coeducational liberal arts and sciences college in lynchburg, virginia. the academic program challenges students within an honors environment enhanced by a global perspective and experiential learning. in 2007, building on its proud history as a single sex institution, the college opened its doors to male students and changed its name to randolph college.
