At Razor Logic Systems we strive to provide Canadian advisors with the tools and resources they need to effectively analyze a client's situation and recommend the appropriate solutions. Our software has been developed in an active planning environment while working with real clients. This has helped us to create some of the most usable and real life applicable software on the market. This process gave us the ability to add and remove aspects of the software, during development, based on their viability in actual planning engagements. The end result is a program designed around how planning is actually done and not how it is perceived to be done. RazorPlan financial planning software was developed by Dave Faulkner, CLU, CFP. Dave is a pioneer in the financial planning software industry and the original designer of one of the most well known financial planning programs available in Canada. When he began developing software in the early 90s, he helped develop the principles by which all current financial planning software is based. As he moved back into the financial planning business, he quickly realized that many of the principles utilized today are almost 20 years old, and however powerful they once were, they no longer align with the views of todays clients nor do they meet the needs of todays advisors. This led us to the development of RazorPlan.
