Our mission is to provide expert advice and support for solicitors and relatives acting for older people funding their own care. Relative Matters offers a 'one-stop-shop' for mental capacity and care assessments, expert care advice and practical help to find, arrange and manage daily living, home support and residential placements. As experienced health and social care professionals, we can help Identify and cost the most appropriate and affordable care options and advise on potential welfare benefits, social care and NHS funding eligibility. As experts in later life, we work with attorneys, deputies and solicitors' to offer professional advice on the complexities of the care system including legislative, Local Authority and NHS policy changes, to support their legal responsibilities, as well as a comprehensive range of services to save their time, clients money and enhance the services they offer older people. Our experienced multi-disciplinary team of consultants includes Social Workers and Occupational Therapists who work to identify the most suitable cost-effective and sustainable care and support solutions. We operate throughout predominantly throughout Sussex, but have worked in other parts of Surrey and the South East as well.
