Ridge AS

Ridge AS consists of more than 170+ high quality inspired professionals covering our main disciplines; Subsurface, Subsea & Facilities and Drilling & Well. We are a high-end engineering solutions and consultancy provider, consisting of people within well construction, production, reservoir engineering, G&G, subsea and facilities. We deliver several services, and our main capabilities lies within ad-hoc services and studies, courses and consulting. We always search out the highest value solutions for our customers. With our global cooperating companies and our partnership with THREE60 Energy Group, we have access to more than 400 experts and professionals. Ridge AS was founded in 2011 by Lasse Hermansson and Jan Tore Hatland in Stavanger, as Subsurface AS. In 2015 the name was changed to Ridge. The idea behind the company was two petroleum engineers who wanted to conduct high-quality engineering studies, advice and consultancy, in cooperation with selected professionals within their network. Our founders had a clear vision on how the company should operate and act, which created the foundation for our mission, vision and values; work together, co-operation, provide solutions and value as well as being positively different. They guide our decisions, how we engage, behave and create values for our people and clients. We make wells feel better. We completed the acquisition of Ocean Maxwell in December 2017, adding professionals within the disciplines of subsea and facilities. With this expansion we also opened our office in Bergen. This enabled Ridge to provide a wider spectrum of services to clients in Norway, Denmark, UK and Singapore. In 2018 we became a part of THREE60 Energy who has headquarter in UK and is active globally.
