RIIS is built on a tradition of craftsmanship and quality that goes back generations. Through 50 years RIIS has grown from carpentry with craftsmanship in its vein to being one of Europes leading companies within development and establishment of high-quality concept design, product design, furniture design and choice of material. Our foundation and approach is a sustainability-focused, empathetic, collaborative and global mindset. Furthermore, we view the design of spaces with a purpose-centred and problem-solving perspective. Creating beautiful spaces will always be an overarching ambition, but we couple our quest for beauty with a quest to serve a relevant purpose, and to create added value for our clients. We design physical spaces, but we also design human behaviour, brand perception, customer experiences, and usability. Today RIIS is owned and managed by 3rd and 4th generation in the Riis family and consists of independent companies striving to reach new heights. RIIS has a local country set up in Denmark, the United Kingdom, Germany, and France, and we operate all over the world including the US, Canada, and Australia. RIIS has more than 200 employees, working together when delivering approx. 400 projects a year.
