Roberts Manufacturing operates from a 21 acre complex at Lower Estate, St. Michael in Barbados producing shortening, margarine, spread and cooking oil products sold in 15 countries and counting across the Caribbean. Roberts Manufacturing employs some 180 persons and is a private limited liability company owned by the PROVEN Investments Ltd and Ansa McAL. Roberts Manufacturing was one of the first manufacturing facilities in Barbados to attain ISO certification. The company gained ISO 9002:1994 certification in 1998 within a record time of nine (9) months. This certification was upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 Management Systems in 2002. In keeping with international manufacturing management systems, Roberts Manufacturing Co. Ltd. obtained the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) certification in 2003. We are also proud to manufacture various private label products for established Caribbean conglomerates under brands such as Eve for Goddard Enterprises Ltd., Grace for GraceKennedy and Lasco. The total investment valued at US$60 million incorporates a Soybean Extraction Plant, Pet Food Processing Plant, Margarine and Shortening Plant, and Poultry and Livestock Feed Plant.
