On ABN Farms a family owned farm that stretches over 245 acres in Wadi El Natroun, Egypt, we grow some of the highest quality fruits and vegetables. Established in 2005 ABN focused mainly on the production and export to Europe Specifically the UK & Germany our Class I “Early Sweet Grapes” & Keitt and Kent Mango Varieties. Our portfolio has expanded tremendously over the years, allowing us to offer a wide range of locally sourced fruit & vegetable production for international markets. When the new generation came to take over the business, they recognized a gap in the quality & consistency of Egyptian fresh produce & Egyptian Exporters in both Europe & the MENA region. Therefore, in 2016 Roots Export was born with the main goal of developing the MENA fresh produce markets by providing European quality specifications & improving the image of Egyptian Fresh Produce throughout European & Western Markets, while maintaining the values of ABN: Trust, Honesty, & Integrity. In such a short time, Roots Export has established a significant footprint of the flagship Brand for our Mangos: “Roots” in Beirut & Dubai. Our annual turnover has increased from 320 tons in 2016 to 1,500 tons in 2017. By partnering with community farmers we have been able to expand our vegetable portfolio to include some of Egypt’s best produce. In addition, to meet the expectations of our customers, we have expanded our contracted partner farming Network to make sure that Roots delivers Premium Quality every time.
