Based in Brisbane, Rubbedin Pty Ltd has been a leading manufacturer of specialty cleaning products since 1979. It all started with the launch of the Hotplate Magic – now known as Magic Hotplate Restorer™, which was Australia’s first cast iron hotplate restorer. Rubbedin then developed more products designed to maintain and repair cast-iron potbelly stoves and combustion heaters. These being from the Firewise® brand, Soot-Loose, Instant Brick, and Black Patch Stove Putty. Did you know that Soot-Loose is Australia’s #1 selling chimney and flue cleaner?! During the 1990s, Rubbedin was the first to introduce Magic BBQ Cleaner & Degreaser™, Magic Ceramic Glass Cooktop cleaner™, the Magic Washing Machine Cleaner™, and Magic Multi-Use Descaler™ cleaners to the Australian market. The well-known Magic range of products is now available in most leading supermarket and family independent stores nationally. We are proud to say that we have manufactured the Magic range to be safe for your family and environmentally friendly. The products contain no harmful chemicals, are non-toxic, biodegradable, and greywater/septic tank compliant. Products that were non-toxic, plant-derived, and contained no d-limonene, chlorine, bleach, phosphates, sodium, and synthetic fragrances. There are 7.2 million Australians who suffer from allergies and over 2.7 million Australians with asthma; we knew there was a lack of suitable cleaning products for these individuals. Therefore in early 2017, after many years of extensive research, development, and testing, we launched the PuraChoice range. The complete PuraChoice range is hypo-allergenic, contains dermatologically tested ingredients, and is cruelty-free. We have a firm policy of producing and delivering top-quality products that are highly effective and safe.
