sahroo is an environmentally conscientious bridal collection reimagining luxury through handcrafted, bejeweled heirloom pieces. Nature, in all her beauty, is our starting point. Founded by creative director Sarah Abbasi in the heart of New York City in 2018, our bridal collections are comprised of handcrafted garments made from biodegradable pure silk, hand-embellished with silk ribbons, silk threads, and recyclable glass crystals. Our story is inextricably interwoven with our craft — it’s an ode to old-world tradition, carried out with a heaping of new-age opulence. We seek to uphold a dying tradition of skillfully handmade garments. There is a captivating story behind every garment, all told by our third-generation artisans who are masters of their respective crafts; dyers, embellishers, and expert tailors oversee the cutting and sewing of each individual piece.
