Founded in 2019 after experiencing a severe TBI, President and CEO, Ryan Leonard, was given pocket money by his mom to invest in one of the only hobbies he was able to take up at the time of injury: soap making. What started off as a small hobby quickly turned into a small business as Leonard quickly began scaling the company through farmers markets, social media advertising, and an online presence through the Salty Virgin eCommerce website. "Going into 2022, the Salty Virgin team plans to expand by creating three new additions to the product line, as well as expanding into Brick and Mortar retailers and attending farmers markets across Colorado", states Leonard. Salty Virgin Soap Company sees the beauty in Artisan products and hopes to create a platform where consumers can come to purchase high-quality hand-crafted cosmetics. At Salty Virgin, we believe Artisan products can be scaled if done well and we plan to do right by the Artisan process.
