The Saudi Particle Therapy Center (SPTC) is a recently established proton therapy center within King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The center is equipped with a Varian ProBeam system that is composed of a 250 MeV cyclotron, three rotating gantries, one fixed beam and one dedicated room for eye treatment and research, which is expected to treat the first patient in June 2018. This is the first Proton Therapy facility in the Middle East and North Africa.
