We are predominantly a civil engineering company that also offers MEICA, fabrication, building maintenance, tankering and water services. At SBu we have a dedicated water division that are highly trained within their specialist field. All of the operatives that work within our water department hold the EUSR national water hygiene qualification to ensure that they can complete their job without the risk of contamination of water. Work carried out by this department includes new sewage pumping stations; main laying; rising mains; clean water repairs; sewage repairs; valve installations; hydrant installations; meter installations; manhole chambers and covers. Civil engineering is the core of our business and it is also the most diverse. It operates across numerous sectors including water, construction, environmental, private and industrial as well as providing specialist support to the other divisions within the business.Our expertise has seen us construct underground CSO’s, attenuation tanks and sewage pumping stations. On top of this, we also carry out major drainage and pressure pipeline installations for both the private and public sector including the local authorities across the country. SBu provide mechanical & electrical services for multiple clients via experienced engineers and installation teams. We cover all aspects of water treatment, whether this is to be clean or waste water. We also offer fabrication services with a purpose made fabrication shop. Our fabrication department holds the complex quality standard of the EN1090 up to execution class 2. This qualification allows us to fabricate structural steel and erect steel for larger construction projects and provide project management. Maintenance aspects include concrete plinths/paths; steps and staircases; flagged/ block-paving hardstanding areas; UPVC windows and doors; joinery work; fencing/ gates; painting and decorating; electrical; kitchen/ toilet/ washroom refurbishments and roofing repair
