The SBGrid Consortium is a community-based software collaborative operating out of Harvard Medical School that includes hundreds of scientists and software developers around the world engaged in research using X-ray crystallography, NMR, and electron microscopy. SBGrid provides member laboratories with a tested and refined library of over 400 scientific applications that support structure determination. As part of our mission to expand access, facilitate communication, and lower barriers to research, we host monthly live educational seminars and webinars led by scientists and software developers talking about what's new in structural biology, giving tutorials, demonstrating new features, and previewing future developments. Through occasional hands-on workshops and local computing schools, we also offer more intensive training opportunities to members.
