Scan Systems Corporation is a group of four synergistic operating divisions, each providing its own specialized proprietary products and services for the support of NDE companies. Clients use Scan Systems for specialized equipment, integrated systems and precision calibration samples. Scan Systems’ customer base, from a wide variety of pipe and metal industries, includes companies from Oil and Gas Exploration, Petrochemical Plants, the Nuclear Industry, Aero-Space Engineering, the Defense Department, NASA, Metal Forging, Steel Industries, National Research Labs, the Auto Industry and multiple Private Testing Facilities. The PITCO division specializes in the in-house production of new, state-of-the-art pipe inspection equipment, the refurbishing and remanufacturing of used equipment, and provision of replacement parts and services for all brands of pipe inspection equipment. The EDM Specialties division offers quality calibration for NDE inspection companies with custom, patented equipment since 1985. Established in 1988, the Tally-Rite Measuring Systems division of Scan Systems Corp. specializes in the use of a two-person portable Tally-Rite unit, which excels in high-traffic facilities. TDS (Tubular Data Systems) is a division of Scan Systems Corp. that offeres a specialty inventory control and "business process software" for the storage, handling, inspection, and reporting of oil country tubular goods materials.
