We’re Mind, the mental health charity. We’re here to make sure anyone with a mental health problem has somewhere to turn for advice and support. Scarborough, Whitby and Ryedale Mind was founded in 1962 to provide support across the region to people experiencing mental health difficulties. We are a locally based charity, affiliated to national Mind, part of the Mind network who work and campaign for improved mental health provision throughout England and Wales. SWR Mind provides social support, emotional support, practical support, information and advocacy. We can provide short , medium or longer term support through our innovative Side by Side service, developed through consultation with service users in order to provide personalised support that responds to individuals needs, goals and aspirations.
