the thammasat university school of global studies positions the university as a regional and global academic focal point by fostering trans-disciplinary initiatives in higher education, research and academic services, leading to enhanced international visibility through our focus on social innovation for human security and well being. in accordance with thai government policy, thammasat university's vision, mandate, and policy; and in close collaboration with fellow academic institutions, promote: 1. offer international higher education initiatives that address regional, global and trans-disciplinary challenges to human security and well-being. 2. conduct multi and trans-disciplinary research on dimensions of human security and well-being that brings thammasat university to the forefront as an academic center of significance within thailand, the region, and beyond. 3. develop academic service initiatives that contribute to policy advocacy in achieving the "asean community road map and foster visibility of thammasat university at te regional and global stage. 4. develop inter-faculty and inter-institutional partnerships allowing thammasat university to be at the crossroads where regional and global citizenship thrives across scholars, students, professionals, and civil society.
