Science and Technologic Park 'TECHNOPARK GLIWICE'​ Ltd.

Science and Technology Park TECHNOPARK GLIWICE is a modern center of academic business support. The company came into being in April 2004 and it was founded by the three shareholders: the City of Gliwice, the Silesian University of Technology, and Katowice Special Economic Zone. The main activity of the park is a creation and promotion of innovative and advanced technology companies and transfer of innovative technologies from the Silesian University of Technology and R+D units to small and medium-sized enterprises. Among services addressed to enterprises you can find innovation audits, mentoring and consulting packages and the opportunity to join the Virtual Business Incubator, which allows to register your company at a prestigious address without necessity to rent a room. In our park we focus on supporting academic entrepreneurship. Extensive cooperation with various science and technology institutions, universities, science parks, and foreign organizations, as well as a number of projects that have been realized, confirmed the role of the park in the development of entrepreneurship not only in our region. The support for academic entrepreneurship provided by 'Technopark Gliwice'​ science and technology park includes trainings for students who participate in implemented projects, consultancy for scientists and students, co-financing of 60 newly established business entities and 16 incubated enterprises established on the premises of the Park. "Technopark Gliwice"​ Machine Park enables us to offer specialized services such as the production of machines elements and devices using methods of Rapid Prototyping, coordinate measurements or waterjet machining of objects - in 3D, and 3D design using CATIA and Solid Edge software.
