Akron SCORE’s mission is to utilize the business knowledge & skills of its volunteer counselors to successfully guide entrepreneurs & existing small businesses toward their goals in Medina, Portage, Summit and Wayne Counties. The Akron chapter was formed in 1965 and has 70 counseling professionals with diverse business backgrounds. During 2014, Akron SCORE provided services to more than 3,000 clients through face-to-face counseling and the 100 business workshops it conducted. All services provided by this SCORE chapter are FREE and CONFIDENTIAL.
