Scorpius Trackers provides a complete solar tracking solution comprising maintenance free pivots, cutting edge electronics and structures. With in-house expertise in design. installation and maintenance, Scorpius provides a one-stop solution to enhance customers energy generation capabilities. The company was founded in December 2012 by Shailesh Vaidya and Kiran Shah, both veterans in metallurgy and motion control. Shailesh (CEO) and Kiran (CTO), leveraged this experience to develop and globally patent a bearing concept that did away with the need for lubricants. It was then applied to develop a solar tracking technology that promises to be maintenance free throughout the life of a plant. In addition to ZERO O&M Bearings, Scorpius Trackers offer stand along self powered Tracker Controllers. The electronics have many industry FIRST features. The products are very well engineered - Wind Tunnel Studies are completed and have undergone Independent Engineers scrutiny for Bankability. Scorpius Trackers is one of the few solar tracking companies that is active globally. At present, more than 1,000 MW is installed with around 12,000 MW pipeline bid, for projects in India , South East Asia, Europe, South America, USA, Middle East and Africa.
