Seaview software measures surface wave, current and wind, delivering metocean data in real time. Users include the renewable energy market, oil and gas, harbour management and coastal protection. Seaview software processes phased array HF radar data to provide realtime surface current, wave and wind data up to 250km offshore, at multiple grid points across the coverage area. This may be up to 300 points across 450-10,000 km2. These data include measurements of surface current direction and wind direction at each grid point adn may be updated every 10 minutes. The information is presented in tabular form, as a graphical map representation or in time series plots, and may include warnings for particular occassions, such as a storm surge alert. The data may be displayed locally or online in realtime for viewing and downloading.
