Music fans have adapted to the convenience of having access to every song on every device, but they have also adopted vinyl as the physical medium of choice for its warmth, packaging and nostalgic qualities. Vinyl record demand has reached its highest since 1989. Vinyl record presses reached capacity in 2015 and are struggling to meet orders due antiquated machines, old school manufacturing processes and too few presses. At Second Line, we are poised to solve this problem with the first modern vinyl pressing plant built in the U.S.A. in more than 25 years and the introduction of current best-in-class CPG manufacturing processes.
