Sedef Shipbuilding Inc. is the largest private shipyard in Turkey which is the subsidiary corporation of Turkon Holding. Since 1972, Sedef has been serving with nearly 50 engineers and 300 blue-collar workers, 1500 persons of subcontractors, 194.000 m2 area and magnificent substructure. FACILITIES AND SERVICES GENERAL INFORMATION Sedef Shipyard.; * One of the largest private shipyards in Türkiye in size and production capacity. * Is in the forefront as a leader shipyard of the sector. * One of the biggest dry docks owned by a private shipyard in Turkey. * With a total of 270.000 m² area for production, 194.000 m² in Tuzla plant and 76.000 m² in Orhanlı plant. * Indoor production facilities amount to 51.000 m² and 12.000 m² in Tuzla and Orhanlı plants, respectively. * Is the leading edge of the sector due to the 100.000 tons/year capacity of steel processing. * Has new building capacity of 600.000 DWT/year. * Has 1050 tons lifting capacity above the dry dock and 500 tons lifting capacity on pier. * Has a dry dock which is capable of new building and repairing jobs up to 180.000 DWT (Capesize). * Has a slipway which is capable of new building and repairing jobs up to 120.000 DWT. * Has capability of building offshore platforms, offshore supply vessels (OSV) and all kind of special type vessels. * Has the necessary certificates of building military vessels. * Has ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, ISO 27001 and ISO 10002 certificates. * Has EN 1090-2 EXC4 and EN ISO 3834-2 certificates. * Has AQAP 2110 certificate. * Performs workstation logic which is using widely in automobile factories. * Has panel lines which are capable of processing annually 50.000 tons.
